COVID-19 Testing @ USCB

COVID Testing

We are offering FREE PCR COVID testing to university students and employees.  Testing will be available during the Spring 2022 term as follows (excluding state holidays)

Bluffton Campus

  • Monday through Friday, 9am– 4pm, Sci Tec Building, Room 204

Beaufort Campus

  • Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, 8:30am – 12:30pm, Sandstone Building Room 118

Hilton Head Campus

  • Mondays and Thursdays, 10am-2pm, Hilton Head Island Campus Building Lobby

How to Get Test Results

 

Student Spring 2022 Health Requirments

To take courses in SPRING 2022, ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN AT LEAST ONE FACE-TO-FACE COURSE must:

  1. Log into Blackboard and find COVID-USCB-AY21-22 in your current course list
    • Provide proof of the following COVID Status:
      • Proof of Positive [+] COVID-19 PCR nasal or saliva test within the last 90 days [period of Oct. 3 - Jan. 2]. 

– OR –

      • Completed COVID vaccination record

Students who are not fully vaccinated or have a recent positive COVID test will be required to report for a COVID test during the week of January 9th. Times and Locations TBD.

RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS must also:

    • Submit Personal Health Plan to Housing Office

If your test result is positive, please complete the Student COVID-19 Report Form:

You will be required to isolate for the time period designated by SCDHEC and will not be permitted on-campus until you have completed your isolation period (typically five days from date of test or symptoms, whichever comes first)

Please note mask guidelines are subject to change based on community and university COVID infection rates and/or revised CDC or SCDHEC Guidelines.

  • All students, employees, and visitors are required to wear face masks when indoors and in the presence of others on all USCB campuses. Read the CDC's latest mask recommendations
  • All students, employees, and visitors are encouraged to maintain 3-foot physical distancing when indoors on all USCB campuses.
