Navigating COVID-19 Safely:
Get Your Shot, Please!

We have partnered with Beaufort Memorial Hospital to offer the Pfizer COVID vaccine on the Bluffton and Beaufort campuses to USCB students and employees on September 9th (Beaufort) and September 14th (Bluffton).  Students who received their first dose on campus in August can sign-up for a time to receive their second dose. The Bluffton campus location for the vaccine clinic is on the second floor of the library in room 238 . The Beaufort Campus location is the Center for the Arts (CFA). COVID Testing

COVID-19 Testing

We are offering FREE COVID testing to university students and employees.

COVID testing is available M-F, 8:30am-4pm at the following locations:
Beaufort - Sandstone 118
Bluffton - SciTech 204
Hilton Head - Room 127

Beginning August 30th we will also begin conducting random screening. This testing is important to keep the campus safe. Randomly selected participants will be notified via email.

Student COVID Report Form

 

To take courses in Fall Semester 2021, ALL STUDENTS must:

  1. Complete the COVID Education Module prior to move-in or the first day of class (August 19). Log into Blackboard and find COVID-USCB-AY21-22 in your current course list
  2. In the Blackboard module, ALL STUDENTS (residential, commuter, online, dual enrollment, part-time, etc.) must:
    • Provide proof of the following COVID Status:
      Negative [-] COVID-19 PCR nasal or saliva test no more than 7 days prior to move-in

– OR –

    • Proof of Positive [+] COVID-19 PCR nasal or saliva test within the last 90 days [period of May 18 through August 18]. 

– OR –

    • Completed COVID vaccination record

– AND –

RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS must also:

    • Submit Personal Health Plan to Housing Office

If your test result is positive, please complete the Student COVID-19 Report Form:

You will be required to isolate for the time period designated by SCDHEC and will not be permitted on-campus until you have completed your isolation period (typically 10 days from date of test or symptoms, whichever comes first)

Please note interim mask guidelines are subject to change based on community and university COVID infection rates and/or revised CDC or SCDHEC Guidelines.

Campus Protocol

  • All students, employees, and visitors are required to wear face masks when indoors and in the presence of others on all USCB campuses.
  • All students, employees, and visitors are encouraged to maintain 3-foot physical distancing when indoors on all USCB campuses.
