This tool can help you discover majors you may wish to pursue along with employers and strategies to land a job in that field. As you are exploring your options, engage in discussions with fellow students about what they like and dislike about their majors, what the requirements are and what their favorite courses are. Reviewing USCB's academic department websites, which offer information about courses and faculty, is also important. Take the time to talk to your academic advisor to make sure you are aware of the requirements for completing your chosen major. Don't forget to meet with the Career Services staff to discuss majors that interest you and how you'll develop skills that relate to the world of work. 16Personalities is a website where you can take a personality assessment that is based on the Myers Briggs Personality Type (MBTI).  This can compliment your Clifton Strengths when exploring careers where you will succeed and be happy.

CareerOneStop is a Department of Labor site where you can explore careers, take career assessments and also watch career related videos. It is a great resource for career exploration, training and jobs.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of the U.S. Department of Labor is the principal federal agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions and price changes in the economy. Its mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate essential economic information to support public and private decision making.

O-NET OnLIne is a tool for career exploration and job analysis. O-NET OnLine has detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals, students, researchers and more!

US News & World Report  has a great article about the importance of selecting a minor while in college. A minor can add competencies that will enhance your marketablity and help you stand out from other applicants.
